You will never get in trouble for telling the truth. More importantly, it is a prerequisite for everything we do. If you screw up, say so. If you disagree with a decision, speak up. Don't say what you think others want to hear. Just tell the truth. This applies to everybody, especially leaders or more senior members on your team (including Directors and the CEO).
Everybody on our team cares about what they're working on. That's why we hire more for aptitude and interest than experience. We care about the quality of what we put out there and how it impacts our clients. We often go beyond what's in our contract because we give a sh*t. And if you don't care about what you're doing, you should talk to your team leader: maybe moving to another role on the team would fix that.
You should know why you're doing the things you do. Don't just assume there's a good reason for it: if there is, you should know about it. If you're not clear about the why, just ask. And if you don't understand, ask again. You won't get in trouble for asking to be explained the reason for our decisions and actions. And if you find the why to be lacking, speak up and Tell the Truth.
Many of us have strong opinions, weakly held. Strong opinions are fine, strong egos aren't. Arguments from authority may be used on occasions, but feel free to challenge them. We have a "no jerk" policy. Your skills or intellect doesn't put you above others. We win, and fail, as a team.
